Remember all of those denials that we got from Lucasfilm about the Tuskegee Airmen drama Red Tails not being in trouble...?
Entertainment Weekly via The Playlist reports that producer George Lucas will take over direction duties on reshoots from helmer Anthony Hemingway, though Hemingway will have final approval.
As it turns out Hemingway had already committed himself to direct HBO's new series “Treme” for creator David Simon.
Is there more to the story? Hmm Quite likely...
It would have been easier to just say that Hemingway had another commitment than deny issues in the first place. Right?
And were these reshoots not worked into the schedule
