Bird's Eye View


Brad Bird who directed such recent animated classics like The Iron Giant, Ratatouille and The Incredibles may be going live-action on Mission: Impossible IV reports Heat Vision.

Producers Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams met with not only Bird, but Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) and Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz) as well about the film which is scheduled to begin shooting this Summer for a release May 27th next year.

Bird isn't the obvious pick yes but he knows how to make a good pic

Story details are being kept mum on André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum's script with input from Abrams .

Wright commented on the news saying via his Twitter account that he probably can't accept it due to the fact that he is still working on the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World in post production.

Meanwhile-Cruise and Reese Witherspoon are in talks to join the long-gestating Paper Wings reports The Press Association.
