British actor David Oyelowo (The Last King of Scotland, Red Tails) is set to play the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the historical drama Selma according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film will chronicle the Selma to Montgomery march of 1965 in the Alabama town that marked the political and emotional peak of the Civil Rights Movement.
Hugh Jackman is officially on board to co-star.
