John Singleton will direct the Taylor Lautner -led action thriller Abduction reports Variety
Lautner is a teen who comes upon a baby picture of himself on a missing persons website. The discovery that his parents aren't really his parents soon leads to a chain of violent events that have him running for his life
Shawn Christensen wrote the popular script.
Lautner will shoot the film before he starts working on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
Jeremy Bell produces the pic with filming set to kick off this July in Pittsburgh.
