Field Marker

Jessica Chastain has scored the female lead n the thriller "The Fields" for says The Hollywood Reporter.

Based on a true story, the story follows a pair of cops investigating a string of nearly sixty unsolved murders over two decades amidst the oil refineries and industrial wastelands of in the south-east Gulf Coast region of Texas. He soon finds himself fighting two sets of fierce killers in an effort to save a street kid named Little Anne.

Chastain will play a former rodeo queen turned homicide detective and the ex-wife of Sam Worthington's character. She's also on the hunt for the killers, whether he helps or not.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan also stars

Don Ferrarone penned the script and Ami Canaan Mann will direct when cameras role in April

Chastain also starred with Worthington in the completed pic of The Debt, remake where she played the younger incarnations of Helen Mirren's character.
