Anything Goes

The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver and Terry Jones are teaming up for the upcoming comedy "Absolutely Anything" says Deadline.

The story is said to involve "aliens, a goofy Brit, a talking dog and buckets of silliness." Oliver will star in the lead male role.

Robin Williams wants to voice the film's talking dog. Jones is talking to his fellow former Monty Python castmates-- John Cleese, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam about voicing aliens.

Jones will direct from a script he co-wrote with Gavin Scott,

Mike Medavoy, David Thwaites, and Brad Fischer will be producing the pic with shooting starting by next spring.

This one could be lots of fun
