Team Player

Now that he's done with that pesky island Lost star Josh Holloway is close to signing on opposite Tom Cruise  in Mission: Impossible IV as a member of the Impossible Mission Force says  THR

What's Playing.reported last week that Michael Nyqvist, is playing a "very charming, but calculating bad guy. Not your typical spy-film villain".

He is said to have a brutal extended fight sequence at the end of the film with Ethan Hunt (Cruise).

Their source also claims a big name is being sought to play the new IMF boss, a small but key role ala Anthony Hopkins in Mission: Impossible II

Meanwhile The Wrap reports that Vladimir Mashkov has a role playing a Russian agent. Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton  Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.co-star

Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum wrote the screenplay. Brad Bird is directing .

Holloway's Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams will co-produce the sequel with Wagner and Cruise

Shooting is expected to begin within the next few weeks in Dubai
