The Captain Chesley Sullenberger memoir " Highest Duty:" is coming to a screen near you reports Variety.
"Sully" Sullenberger is the veteran pilot who shot to news fame early last year when he safely landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River after birds flew into the engines and crippled the jet.
Sullenberger landed the plane safely on the river's surface, saving the lives of all 155 passengers on board. He co-wrote the book with Journo/Author Jeffrey Zaslow and will serve as consultant on the project along with his wife.
Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will produce the pic
It's unknown if the film will be a theatrical feature or a television movie.
If it goes theatrical might I suggest actor and fellow pilot Harrison Ford, or Tom Hanks for the lead
The project is now out to writers but no studio is attached.
