Star Casey Affleck and Andrew Dominik are rumored to be re-teaming on a new project reports The New York Times.
The duo worked on the excellent pic The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
During a radio interview on Washington DC' radio, Affleck says "I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about it, but it's a Boston-based crime... It's based on a novel set in Boston, but it's not going to be set in Boston, unfortunately."
No title has yet been announced.
The news has led to speculation that Blonde, the Marilyn Monroe biopic that Dominik is supposed to direct starting in January, with Naomi Watts, might be taking a back-seat to this new pic.
