"Parks and Recreation" writer Dan Goor is writing the script which centers on a straight-laced Secret Service agent who gets assigned to protect an unsavory ex-President.
The pair end up on the run together when a threat is made on the life of the ex-prez.
Cruise would be in the agent role, while an offer is out to Nicholson for the ex-President role.
This might work with a better than average script in hand...
