Speedway

Finally?

After years in development "The Flash" film may be finally start moving along with a script by Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, writers of director Martin Campbell's upcoming "Green Lantern" says Deadline.

The trio will also turn in a treatment for  Green Lantern 2 at the same time.

No one set to direct the pic though rumours that Berlanti would get the job are just that.

An insider tells the site "He won't want to direct it because he kinda wants to do something in between size-wise first before attempting something that large. If Warner Bros does like the script and wants him to direct it...But that's a lot of ifs. And all of it is moot if they don't dig the script. Green Lantern wasn't real until the studio liked the draft."

'Flash' is expected to be the studio's next superhero feature project after "Green Lantern,"  Untitled Batman 3  and  Superman: Man of Steel

Moviehole has posted the casting chatter that Bradley Cooper is under consideration to play speedster role.

If true it makes for an amusing irony. Cooper was originally going to play "Green Lantern" but lost out to Ryan Reynolds and Reynolds was originally set to play "The Flash".
