Director Matthew Vaughn is planning a recreation of the opening scene of Bryan Singer's first "X-Men" film for X-Men: First Class says Bleeding Cool
That scene was set in Poland in 1944, where a young Eric Lensherr inside a Nazi concentration camp first discovered his ability to control magnetic fields. Vaughn is apparently filming an almost shot-for-shot take on the first film's opening scene, but after a certain point will add his own twist on the iconic moment.
Bill Milner ("Son of Rambow") will play young Lensherr
Filming on the project is currently underway in the UK
The first set photos from XFC have popped up over at The Film Stage of James McAvoy as Professor X, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique) and Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert shooting scenes in the 60's era
