Comedian Lisa Lampanelli told satellite radio big guy Howard Stern  (via /Film) that she has been cast in The Sopranos" creator David Chase‘s film directorial debut "Twylight Zones"

Lampanelli's role will be that of the mother of the main teenage male character which is said to be inspired by Chase’s own teenage years ala.Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous

The story deals with a bunch of guys who form a rock band in the 1960s.

John Magaro, Jack Huston, Will Brill and James Gandolfini also star in the movie

Production is about to begin soon in New York
