Paramount showed off the first footage from their upcoming adaptation of Lee Child's Jack Reacher in "One Shot" yesterday at the annual CinemaCon (formerly called ShoWest) in Vegas.
Curious to note that "One Shot" was never mentioned or seen as a title with some suggesting it'll likely be called a variation on the lead character (ie. "Reacher" or "Jack Reacher").
In this particular story Reacher (Tom Cruise) investigates a murder that seems like a slam-dunk but turns out to be more complicated than he could have imagined. The crime involves a sniper arrested for murdering five people at a mall.
There are hopes that the film will launch a potential franchise for the studio. However some folks were wondering if its 5'7" star can pull off a character written as being 6'5" tall
