The story follows a group of guys who are laid off from an auto dealership, with one reluctantly becoming an AVON salesman. He soon becomes a top seller and tries to save his town, and help his struggling family, by pulling in his macho unemployed pals to hawk beauty products so they can win a regional contest.
Michael McCullers will redraft Kevin Bisch's original script.
Hugh Jackman was originally attached and then had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, Gary Foster and John Palermo will produce the film.
