Collette Takes on 2 More Films

Aussie actress Toni Collette  is in talks to star opposite  Jennifer Aniston in the dramedy "Miss You Already" and Pascal Chaumeil's "A Long Way Down" reports Variety.

In 'Miss', Collette and Aniston would play lifelong best friends who help each other with challenges - the outgoing one (Aniston) who is battling breast cancer, and the more reserved one (Collette) who is preparing for her first child's birth.

Paul Andrew Williams will direct from a script he co-wrote with Morwenna Banks.

Christopher Simon and Felix Vossen are producing.

Production kicks off in London this summer.

'Down' is based upon author Nick Hornby's book and follows four strangers on New Year's Eve who coincidentally plan to jump to their deaths from the same rooftop.

Collette would to play the helpless single mom of a disabled young man.

Pierce Brosnan is also in talks to play a scandal-plagued talk show host.

Jack Thorne ("The Scouting Book for Boys") wrote the adapted script.

Production on 'Down' also takes place in London in the late Summer or early Fall.

Collette is at work on the biopic Hitchcock as Peggy Robertson, Hitchcock's longtime and fiercely protective assistant. She will then reunite with her "Little Miss Sunshine" cohort Steve Carell on the indie comedy "The Way, Way Back" before working on these newest pics.
