Aussie Supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw will make her acting debut in George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road"--the reboot of the Mad Max franchise says The Daily Telegraph.
The inside source says "Obviously it's set in a post-apocalyptic world, and women, especially beautiful women, are scarce, so men have been locking them up in cages. Abbey is one of them. She's perfect."
It's rumoured she's taking over the role previously taken by actress Teresa Palmer who dropped out due to the ongoing delays. However neither Kershaw's management nor Miller answered calls from the paper to confirm.
Tom Hardy will star as post-apocalyptic drifter Max Rockatansky made famous first by Mel Gibson.
Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, and Adelaide Clemens were all set to co-star and seemingly remain attached to Fury.
The pic is scheduled to start filming in Namibia this month, following those muliple delays and setbacks.
