Smith Ends Where He Started

Since director Kevin Smith had previously stated that his Hockey comedy Hit Somebody was too long to accomodate one film--He has decided to make one last film before he retires from the biz

Smith took to Twitter on Friday to announce:

"So with the Hit Somebody shift, the minute Jeff Anderson signs on, my last cinematic effort as a writer/director will be Clerks III."

Clerks II was released in 2006----and was a mixed bag. Here's hoping that the third film ends thing on a high note--Smith is a talented guy and deserves to go out on top.
