Last year's "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" pulled in $132 million worldwide. Shot on a fairly modest $57 million, it made a profit but it wasn't enough for Sony Pictures to want to make another one.
Nicolas Cage tells MTV News that if a third film does go forward, it will do so without him: "I think the ship has sailed on that one. At least with me involved. I've done what I had to do with that part. You never say never, but right now, today, I would say that I'm done."
In fact, Cage says he'd find it interesting if they moved forward with a female Ghost Rider.
This as Sony has been slapped with a lawsuit filed by a stuntman for a DVD promo gone wrong.
