A Busy Charlize Theron Also Does Crime Drama

Charlize Theron will star in an yet Untitled crime thriller for Paramount says THR.


Dan Nowak, now entering his third season as a writer on the acclaimed crime TV series The Killing, is writing the script.

The project is described as being similar in tone to End of Watch and The Departed and centers on a corrupt vigilante group.

Ian Bryce and Theron will produce.

Theron recently signed on to star in the comedy Ladies Night to be directed by "The Wonder Years" star turned in-demand TV director Fred Savage next year. She will also co-star in recent Oscar host Seth MacFarlane's "Blazing Saddles"-style western comedy called A Million Ways to Die in the West which will shoot this Summer. She is also primed for the film adaptation of author Gillian Flynn's novel "Dark Places".
