Seth Rogen is set to co-direct produce and star in the comedy The Interview says THR
Evan Goldberg co-wrote the script for The Interview with Rogen, and he will also co-direct the movie with him as well. The studio suits at Columbia Pictures loved what they did with This is the End, and are jazzed by this project.
Seth and Evan have also teamed up as writers on a handful of film, like Superbad, Pineapple Express, and The Green Hornet. Additionally the duo may enlist their mutual pal actor James Franco, to could end up in the lead role.
The story "revolves around a handsome talk show host (potentially Franco) and his producer (Rogen) who find themselves in way over their heads when they get involved in a plot to assassinate the prime minister of North Korea."
I wonder if recently self appointed North Korean ambassador Dennis Rodman would be up for a cameo in the film?
