Eddie Cibrian has joined the cast of the comedy sequel The Best Man Holiday says The Hollywood Reporter.
The original 1999 movie was an ensemble that followed a commitment-shy man who
is asked to be the best man at his friend's wedding.
Taye Diggs, Nia
Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa
Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall are reprising their roles in a story
that is set 15 years later.
The story sees the college friends reunite over the Christmas holiday and discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to heat up once again.
Cibrian’s role is being kept quiet for now.
Writer/director Malcolm D. Lee returns to chart the next chapter and will also produce with Sean Daniel.
Production starts in April in Toronto.
