Simmons & Elliott Tagged For Lawrence Rom-Com

J.K. Simmons and Chris Elliott have joined Marc Lawrence's new and still as yet Untitled romantic comedy says The Hollywood Reporter.

Simmons will portray Dr. Lerner, Chairman of the University's English department, a family man who takes Michaels under his wing. Elliott will portray Jim, a Shakespeare professor and next-door neighbor to Michaels, in search of that certain someone.

Bella Heathcote will play one of Grant's students

Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer are producing.

Production kicks off in New York in the spring,

Lawrence and Grant previously worked together on 3 films "Music and Lyrics," "Two Weeks Notice" and "Did You Hear About the Morgans?".
