David Green Poised To Chart "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2"

David Green ("Earth to Echo") is in talks to direct the sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 at Paramount Pictures says Variety. Green would take over from Jonathan Liebesman who helmed the first film. Liebesman bowed out due to his commitments to the ten-part event series "Shannara" overlapping with the accelerated production timeline of the 'Turtles 2' follow-up.

Will Arnett's Casey Jones and fellow live action actor Megan Fox's April O'Neil are expected to reprise from the first film

 TMNT co-writers Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec are penning the script.

Brad Fuller Andrew Form, Galen Walker and Michael Bay are returning as producers.

The studio has fast tracked the sequel after the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made $478 million worldwide. The hope is to get it into theaters by 2016.
