TV's ""MacGyver" is apparently headed to the big screen...Series creator Lee David Zlotoff dropped the news at Maker Faire 2008 this weekend saying that a big budget movie-based on the show that ran from '85-92 is in the early planning stages.
Gizmodo says, Zlotoff mentioned he ended up with the movie rights years ago giving him full control over the film.
It's seems odd that Zlotoff would end up with screen rights in total. but as a fan...I think, with the right script...a talented cast and crew...A film version might just click
Further details were not laid out, and no formal announcement has been made.
