Fred Ward has joined the cast of Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer 's comedy 30 Minutes or Less reports Reuters. Written by Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan the script revolves around a junior high history teacher (Aziz Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man (Jesse Eisenberg) forced to pull off a bank heist when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest.
Ward will play 'The Mayor', the father of Danny McBride's character.
Michael Peña and Nick Swardson also star.
Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld and Jeremy Kramer will produce. Shooting kicks off late next month in Grand Rapids, Michiga
