Danish company Dam Things has licensed its Troll doll for an animated film says The Hollywood Reporter. The fuzzy-haired dolls were originally created in 1959 and have seen several revivals over the years. The film is expected to expand the troll dolls' mythology as well as relaunch the toy line.
Adam Wilson and Melanie Wilson Labracio have been charged with writing the screenplay.
