Addams Family meets Beetle Juice in a musical--sorta

Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have been charged to script a film adaptation of the Mattel toy line Monster High. says The Hollywood Reporter.

Monster High is seen as a musical set at the "frighteningly fashionable Monster High", the story follows the sons and daughters of famous monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman as they navigate the hell of high school.

Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, composer Marc Shaiman (Hairspray) Scott Wittman are producing the film.
