Not a surprise at all. Thanks to its big box office win last weekend--A sequel to the CGI toon Despicable Me is in the works says Deadline.
Talks are already underway with co-director Chris Meledandri and writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio.
Plus Two short films are also in the works featuring The Minions, those yellow thumb-shaped henchmen of Gru (Steve Carell)
The method of distribution of those shorts has yet to be determined.
