Closing Time

I never saw the Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher rom-com No Strings Attached during its theatrical run--Which basically asks Can two friends maintain a sexual relationship--and remain detached?

Now we have a new trailer for Friends with Benefits starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis--due out July 22--covering the same ground.

Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, (Who were great together in Zombieland) Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins, Andy Samberg and Jenna Elfman co star

The story sees a headhunter (Timberlake) who agrees to sleep together with a female magazine editor friend (Kunis) with no strings attached. He soon falls for her, despite the fact she's dating someone else.

Will Gluck (Who also worked with Clarkson and Stone on the great comedy "Easy A") directs from a script by Keith Merryman and David Newman which he re-wrote,

Of course this has most likely has all the trappings of the genre--I have to say though--Based on the trailer alone anyway it seems funnier than Strings. Of course it doesn't hurt that I'm smitten with both Kunis And Stone.
