Is “Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies” Closer to (Finally) Getting a Director?

Though the novel it’s derived from is a massive hit, the film Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies has seemed to be heading for production limbo.

However, The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog reports that the directing duo David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith are being considered by Lionsgate to potentially direct. The studio also has Craig Gillespie in its sight.

Grahame-Smith wrote the book, so that’d be a plus. Additionally, he worked well with Katzenberg on MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger. However, he’ll be really busy in the coming months, writing an adaptation of his own Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, as well as a treatment for Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows
