Gough appeared in more than 150 movies and television shows, including the British sci-fi show "Doctor Who," and recently voiced/played characters in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" Sleepy Hollow and Corpse Bride
He also appeared in a great screen version of Anna Karenina co-starring Vivien Leigh; Alexander Mackendrick's brilliant comedy The Man in the White Suit opposite Alec Guinness; In Joseph Losey's drama The Go-Between as Julie Christie's father (a role that earned him a Best Supporting Actor British Academy Award nomination and the thriller Night Was Our Friend
