Summit Eagerly Tries to Secure “The Last Witch Hunter”

Summit Entertainment, perhaps best known for the Twilight films, doesn’t want to give up on the whole fantasy craze just yet. According to The Los Angeles Times the studio currently seeks a director for The Last Witch Hunter.

Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and Breck Eisner (The Crazies) have been possibilities for the gig in the past, but neither of them seems to be in the running anymore, and despite the lack of a front-runner to play the leading character, Vin Diesel seemingly wants the lead role, but casting is a while off.

Should Summit continue making films about fantastical creatures, or should the studio stay away from witches and the like?
