Wiseman Recalls Wife

Deadline reports that actress Kate Beckinsale has been offered one of the female lead roles in the Total Recall remake  The article says she's been offered to play Lori, who was portrayed in the earlier pic by Sharon Stone

Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson are said to be the lead contenders for the other female role of Melina (played in the original by Rachel Ticotin)

The film will be a new adaptation of the sci-fi saga based on the Philip K. Dick story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale"--and bares little similarity with Paul Verhoeven's 1990 original pic.
