Men Of Magic

MeJesse Eisenberg and Jake Gyllenhaal are both in talks to join the magician-heist pic Now You See Me reports Variety.

Louis Leterrier’s (Clash of the Titans remake) directs the film that centers on a FBI unit locked in a game of cat and mouse against a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of bank heists during their performances

No word on what character Eisenberg would be playing, though my guess would be he'd play an illusionist-thief rather than a Fed--can't quite see him as an officer of the law

Gyllenhaal's part is unknown at this point as well.

At one time other duos Colin Firth and Sacha Baron Cohen as well as Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant were being considered--likely nixed over expense

Offers are also reportedly out to Philip Seymour Hoffman, Olivia Wilde and Mélanie Laurent  to join the cast

Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt penned the script.

Star Trek and Transformers writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are set to produce. No production schedule is set yet
