Mark Deklin has joined the cast of the Motion Capture 3-D film re-imagining of "Tarzan" says Heat Vision.
The pic is the latest adaptatation of author Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic jungle hero. In this version Tarzan’s (Kellan Lutz) parents (Deklin, Jaime Ray Newman) are billionaire adventurers who are killed in an airplane crash. Jane Porter (Spencer Locke) meanwhile is the daughter of an African guide and committed to conservation of the African jungle. She eventually works with Tarzan to defeat the mercenary army of Greystoke Energies led by the film's villain (Trevor St. John)- the CEO that took over the company after the death of Tarzan's parents).
Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe will direct using a script penned by Klooss, Yoni Brenner and Jessica Postigo.
Kloos and Robert Kulzer will produce the pic.
Shooting kicks off this week in Munich.
