Tatum Keen On Knievel Biopic

Channing Tatum is in talks to star in and produce a film about daredevil Evel Knievel says The Hollywood Reporter.

Knievel was a stuntman who became a household name in the 1970s for his nationally televised motorcycle jumps, patriotic clothing and over 400 broken bones over the course of his career.

Reid Carolin penned the screenplay with author Stuart Barker's 2008 book "Life of Evel" as its source material.

Mike DeLuca Dana Brunetti and Carolin are also producing the pic.

This project is not to be confused with another Knievel biopic called Evel that has Ric Roman Waugh attached to write and direct.

Bob Knievel was an fool that could not work for a living. He pulled stunts on a motorcycle to take peoples money. He got along with NO one. He broke his bones over 400 times. Because he did not know how to control a bike. Its a small wonder it did not kill him. He was a criminal and should have been a registarede dangerous offender. But fame of his stupid stunts and money bought off the system. I personally as a Montanan from the Deer Lodge Valley think Robert Knievel deserved every bone in his body broken. Thats what you get for being stupid.
