The story centers on a scorned woman (Cameron Diaz) who teams up with her boyfriend's wife (Leslie Mann) to get revenge on their man (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), when it is learned he is seeing yet another woman (Kate Upton).
Minaj is playing Diaz's outspoken assistant, who is on her third marriage.
Chicago Fire co star Taylor Kinney also stars
Nick Cassavetes will call action using Melissa Stack's script.
Julie Yorn will produce the film.
Production kicks off late spring/early summer in New York.
