Spidey 2: Pics Of Foxx As Dillon & DeHaan As Harry

Last week we got our first unofficial look at  Jamie Foxx playing bad guy Electro in director Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2...Now Webb has taken to Twitter once more to give us an Official Photo of Foxx as  Max Dillon before his transformation.

Actor Dane DeHaan ("Chronicle") who stars in the role of Harry Osborn in the film followed suit tweeting out a pic of the character. Osborn of course is Peter Parker's best friend and eventual enemy who was played by James Franco in the prior films.

I think DeHaan is a great young actor and I really can't wait to see what he does with this role.

The actor has been also out on the stump to discuss his current role in The Place Beyond The Pines which is now in theaters...

In a chat with EW DeHaan talks about taking over the role of young Harry after Franco's memorable turn:.

Ultimately my job is to portray a living, breathing human being and to act truthfully under imaginary circumstances. Sometimes you know that involves terrorizing an entire city[in Chronicle], sometimes that involves getting intimate with [in the upcoming Kill Your Darlings],” and though he will not say how his performance would differ from the other films except to say, “It’s certainly going be my version.

He adds, “Everybody has their own set of circumstances and problems, and I think you know Harry Osborn certainly got a list of problems. Just because he goes home and sleeps in his penthouse at night and has a ton of money doesn’t mean he’s a happy person.

Andrew Garfield will return as Peter Parker and Emma Stone will reprise her role as Gwen Stacy.

Shailene Woodley has won the role of Mary Jane Watson, the perennial red-headed love interest of Pater Parker in the Spidey comics. The role was previously played by Kirsten Dunst in director Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy. Paul Giamatti plays the villain, the Rhino Chris Cooper has been cast as Norman Osborn--who eventually becomes Spidey's number one foe--The Green Goblin--The character was played previously by Willem Dafoe Felicity Jones (Like Crazy), has an undisclosed role in the film. Former Office star B.J. Novak also scored an unspecified role

Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner are writing the script based on a previous draft by James Vanderbilt.

Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach will produce.

The new film is now in production to meet its May 2nd 2014 release date.
