Director Tomas Alfredson will call action on a film adaptation of author Astrid Lindgren's
children book "The Brothers Lionheart" says MovieZine via The Playlist.

"Let the Right One In" writer John Ajvide Lindqvist is writing the adapted script,
The $50 million project, currently targeting a Christmas 2014 release, will be the most expensive Scandinavian production in history.
The project looks to have taken priority over the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy follow-up "Smiley's People" which remains in development.
