De Niro & Labeouf May Spy As Father & Son

Heat Vision reports that Robert De Niro and Shia Labeouf are looking to star in the film Spy’s Kid for Paramount Pictures.

The Catch Me If You Can-esque story set in the world of espionage. It's is based on a series of articles published in The The Oregonian by Bryan Denson that tell the true story of a Central Intelligence Agency veteran convicted of spying who enlisted his son to continue his work from behind bars.

Labeouf’s Eagle Eye and Disturbia director D.J. Caruso is in talks to call action here.

A writer has yet to be hired to pen the adapted script. De Niro and Labeouf’s involvement is contingent upon the final script.

Raymond Brothers and Scott Glassgold are set to produce.
