Marling Gets Wilde Role

Brit Marling ("Sound of My Voice," "Arbitrage") is in final talks to replace Olivia Wilde in Daniel Barber's untitled period thriller formerly known as "The Keeping Room" says The Wrap.

Julia Hart wrote the script that follows two Southern sisters (Marling, Hailee Steinfeld) and a slave (Nicole Beharie) left alone in the closing days of the American Civil War. The trio are soon forced to defend their home from the onslaught of a band of soldiers who have broken off from the fast approaching Union Army.

Jordan Horowitz, Matt Williams, David McFadzean, Judd Payne and Dete Meserve will produce.
