Neeson, Espinosa To Tell A "Gang Story"

Liam Neeson and "Safe House" director Daniel Espinosa are both attached to "Gang Story," a remake of Olivier Marchal's French film "Les Lyonnais" says Deadline.

The story follows two childhood friends and notorious armed robbers in the early 1970s which ended with a spectacular arrest in 1974. In the present, one of them has found peace by retiring from the "business". While the other, who has disavowed nothing from his past, comes back into the picture.

"Daredevil" reboot scribe David Scarpa is writing the adapted script.

There's no word if Espinosa's doing this film before he directs "Child 44" starring Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman.
