Dawson Goes For Rock's Next Film

Rosario Dawson is in talks to play the female lead in an Untitled comedy that Chris Rock will act/write/direct says Deadline.

The story centers on a comedian turned film star who, despite the expectations of his fans, is determined to reinvent himself as a ‘serious’ actor. The problem is, that attempt is failing, while his marriage to a popular reality star is expected to be the biggest media event of the year.
His interview by a woman for The New Yorker magazine proves to be an interaction that could change the course of both their lives.

Scott Rudin and Barry Diller are set to produce.

Production begins in June NYC.

Rock helmed Head of State and I Think I Love My Wife for the big screen as well as a 2006 episode of his biographical sit-com Everybody Hates Chris called Everybody Hates Corleone.
