Wyatt Russell Lands On "22 Jump Street"

THR reports that Wyatt Russell – son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn is set to join the comedy sequel 22 Jump Street.

Jonah Hill and co-star Channing Tatum are expected to return both in front of the camera and as executive producers.

Co-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will return to call action and are working on the script with Michael Bacall and Oren Uziel. The action switches from High School to College as cops Jenko and Schmidt deal with the next stage in terms of their mission and their friendship.

Russell will play a frat brother who befriends Tatum but comes under suspicion of criminal activity,

Production takes place in New Orleans starting next month to meet a release date of June 13, 2014.
