Nicole Kidman Tells "The Secret In Their Eyes" For Paltrow

THR reports that Nicole Kidman is in talks to replace Gwyneth Paltrow for the remake of the 2009 Argentinian foreign-language Oscar winner "The Secret in Their Eyes".

Billy Ray, who wrote and directed "Shattered Glass" and "Breach," will do the same tasks and  is reconfiguring the original which will now focus on a former MI5 agent haunted by an unsolved case who discovers a shocking truth about past events.

Julia Roberts and Chiwetel Ejiofor also star here.

The original film had two male leads to one female, but after Roberts expressed an interest, Ray did a redraft to accommodate her.

Mark Johnson and John Ufland will produce the update.

Juan Jose Campanella, who directed the original, will executive produce the new pic.
