MARV Films has nabbed the film rights to author Tonya Hurley's young adult novel "Ghostgirl" says ScreenDaily.
The ghostgirl series was launched in 2008 and tells the story of a girl desperate to be popular even after she has died by choking on a Gummi Bear
Vaughn and Valerie Van Galder, who previously worked together on "Snatch" and "Kick-Ass," will produce the film.
The team is planning to produce this as a potential franchise launcher.
