Matt Reeves Charts Heist Flick

THR reports that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves will helm an as yet untitled Heat meets  Dog Day Afternoon bank heist film.

 The film is based on a pitch from Matt Charman, who wrote Steven Spielberg's upcoming Untitled Cold War thriller

Tobey Maguire will produce the film .

Reeves is expected to do the film after he wraps the next Apes sequel, which is scheduled for release in July 2016
