Mabrouk El Mechri ("Jcvd") will direct the thriller "The Cold Light of Day" says Variety. The film sees a young Wall Street trader's family kidnapped while on a vacation to Spain. With only hours to find them, he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy behind their abduction which relates to something in his father's dark past.
Richard Price does a re-write on Scott Wiper and John Petro's original screenplay.
Filming kicks off this June in Spain.
