“Deadgirl” Gets a Sequel

The horror film Deadgirl sparked tons of controversy. Given the film focuses on male teens who lose any trace of morality upon meeting a naked female zombie, it’s not hard to determine why so many were furious with writer Trent Haaga and directors Gadi Harel and Marcel Sarmiento.

Jay A. Fernandez of The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog relays of Haaga having written a sequel to combat the misogyny issues raised from the first film. This time, a naked male is found by two females.

Haven’t seen Deadgirl, but this little sequel – if it actually gets made – will be an interesting project to follow.

How do you feel about the Deadgirl controversy?
